myrtle beach, sc - May 24-28, 2004
Due to a very busy summer schedule, McLean and I took our annual beach trip a bit early this year, all the while hoping that Mother Nature could provide some early summer weather. Unlike last year when we watched the rains fall for 3 of 4 beach days, we were fortunate enough to have 5 straight days of 90+ sunny weather. Though I normally write a sometimes lengthy narrative about my adventures, I promise to keep this one fairly short.
Day 1: Arrived. Laid on beach chair for remainder of day, save for a few minutes in the surf and pool.
Day 2: Laid on beach chair all day, save for a few minutes in the surf and pool. Shopped at night (barf).
Day 3: Laid on beach chair all day, save for a few minutes in the surf and pool. Visited the aquarium. Sipped margaritas at Fat Tuesdays while listening to some really really bad karaoke.
Day 4: Laid on beach chair all day, save for a few minutes in the surf and pool. Played miniature golf. Shopped at night (barf).
Day 5: Laid on beach chair all morning, save for a few minutes in the surf and pool. Left.
Yep, so that's pretty much it. A nice relaxing trip though, exactly what I needed after finishing up school.
